About the Artist

Thank you so much for taking the time to view my website.

I am an artist based in New Zealand, and am lucky to be surrounded by so much native bush, beautiful birds and wildlife, which is the inspiration for my work. I love everything about nature from the sounds, to the ever-changing light, to the peace and tranquility.

I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and styles but always seem to revert back to realism. I paint detailed birds, animals and nature settings, and mostly work with pyrography, alcohol ink, watercolour and pencil, but I'm open to giving anything a go. I also enjoy making jewellery with natural elements such as crystals, New Zealand Greenstone / native wood, and macrame (knotted) cord or wire.
